Several reports, including a tweet from The Kansas City Star’s Bob Dutton, indicate that starting pitcher Gil Meche is headed to the disabled list with a shoulder injury. Bruce Chen will start on Sunday.
To fill Meche’s spot on the roster, Victor Marte has been recalled from Class AAA Omaha.
